Privacy, plainly.
One policy for Yea or Nay, Split Decision, and Pollster.
The short version
You can play every game without an account. If you sign in, we store your scores so they follow you between devices. We never sell personal information, and advertisers and sponsors only ever see aggregate traffic numbers — never who you are.
What we collect
- Playing without an account: your results are saved in your own browser's local storage. They stay on your device.
- If you sign in with Google: we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google, and we store your game results against your account so your record and streak sync across devices.
- Anonymous daily tallies: when a puzzle is finished we add one to that day's aggregate counters (how many played, the score distribution). These contain no identity at all.
- Contact and advertising forms: whatever you type, delivered to us as email.
Analytics & cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the games are used — pages viewed, puzzles completed, rough geography. It sets cookies and collects usage data under Google's privacy policy. We use it for audience statistics only, not advertising profiles.
Sponsors & advertisers
Sponsored placements are labeled on the page. Sponsors and advertisers receive aggregate figures from us — daily players, page views — and nothing else. No personal information is sold, rented, or shared with them. If you click through to a sponsor, their own privacy policy applies from there.
Where your data lives
Accounts and synced results are stored with Google Firebase; the sites are served by Cloudflare; form submissions are relayed by FormSubmit. Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms.
Deleting your data
Email us and we'll delete your account and every result stored with it, usually within a few days. Include the Google email you signed in with.
Results saved only on your device can be removed by clearing this site's browsing data in your browser. The anonymous daily tallies can't be deleted because they were never tied to you.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll note it here. Questions? Write to us.
